It was a clear February afternoon and two of our founding members were in the middle of an empty soccer field, wiring up the "Mohican II" - a 30 inch, 2-stage rocket. It wasn't so much that grown men were launching model rockets - it was that after the successful launch, they both ran full speed across the field and into the adjacent woods to find the starship - Running like children through the field. When the parachute deployed the Mohican drifted about 1/2 mile!
That was the day we decided to start a Web site about fun stuff - toys!
TheKidShoppe.com project was conceived to provide a toy portal for Mom's, Dad's and kids. A resource that delivers quality information about what's on the market, how it performs, and whether or not you should buy it.
Our project quickly became a fun part of daily life. There are many testers in TheKidShoppe.com family. Between the founders, there are something like 7,349,852 sons, daughters, nieces and nephews who are more than happy to "test" products that we are reviewing. These are TheKidShoppe.com elves, and they do a great job.
Our mission is to provide our visitors with up to date, accurate information about the most popular toys on the market. We'll tell you what's good, what's bad and where the best place to buy is.
Our staff has an incredibly diverse background in Internet technologies, product marketing, and partner marketing, not to mention having lots of kids and big families. They have a unique insight into the world of toys. TheKidShoppe.com was built out of a passion for having fun - we don't think anyone is too old to chase rockets...
